How Long Does Mold Remediation Take? A Day-by-day Timeline

Here’s what you can expect from a typical process:
1. Inspection and Containment (1-2 days)

2. Mold Removal (1–2 Days)
After identifying affected areas, our team begins to remove the mold. All non-porous surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected. Any materials that can’t be safely cleaned are removed. This could be carpet, drywall, wood, or other porous materials. Anything removed from the property will be safely disposed of according to the latest regulations and standards.
3. Cleaning and Disinfecting (1-2 days)
Next, we take preventative steps to ensure the mold doesn’t return. We treat surfaces with antimicrobial solutions, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all affected areas. We run hospital-grade HEPA air filters to capture airborne spores. You can breathe easy in your home again!
4. Drying and Restoration (2-3 days)
As a final step, we thoroughly dry affected areas to remove excess moisture. Addressing moisture issues now will keep your home safe in the future!
